I know its one question so if my karma is not good enough then please pick one:
- when recreating the ships for the new graphics engine / polygon count, have you considered changing the models (I mean seriously, except Amarr all ships are fugly and I am ashamed of the pointy unwieldy thing my Raven is - and while I know that form follows function in space, its a game, and at least the fighters should be symetrical and look cool (think Wing Commander - flame away)
- having that fantastic character generation engine (which times out too early for us who design character portraits to be nothing but perfect btw), isn't it a shame that my toon (and the other 25.000+) is only seen on stamp-sized chat picture? Have you considered adding some in-space-station activities where the toon plays some role (could even include emotes easily since you have the sliders for it already in the char creation), like if nothing else the Eve equivalent of a game of Pazaak?
- The whole pod thing: How did that get started? Would we one day see some changes to that or is it fixed to much in the game and background story? Reason I ask is, the battleships and cap ships have a gigantic scale, and windows/viewports, and I always think it might make a lot more sense to actually assume a 300 man crew running my Raven and me commanding it and the commander escaping in some sort of rescue pod - which imho could still be implemented and explained. The whole one-man-implanted-in-an-egg-running-a-huge-spaceship thing never made much sense to me imho and limits so many areas of the game - if that would gotten rid of, there could be space station activities and there could even be crew management one day (think Silent Hunter III - e.g. you could "buy" a weapons operator or a radar operator and this would boost your stats. They could even have randomly generated portraits. There are dozens of kewl enhancement ideas in my head that rely on not being a loner in an egg for lifetime.
- and the most important question ... actually THE question to the devs or their lead:
emacs or vi?
(Or maybe even *cough* Visual Studio?)

IMHO they have not even implemented the pirate profession either.
Maybe if there'd be a ransom game interface and proper game mechanics to back it up, I would agree to call it a profession. Until then, it just remains a style of play to me. -----------------------------------------------------

I can answer that one: The correction of a spelling error in the last name of one of the developers in the credits. It was the one bugfix that didn't break anything -----------------------------------------------------

Auto-Targeters. Must be the Auto-Targeters.
A module that takes a high slot and does what it wants without any options and is used by nobody I ever spoke to. As useful as a Civilian Mining Laser on a Titan. -----------------------------------------------------

Just make it a interview where someone asks you these questions and you give replies to them. Record it all and put it on the net. It would be easy. Dont let time stand in the way of spreading knowledge.
I totally second that.
Dear CCP, please answer all the good questions and maybe also the not so good ones, if any. Make it a monthly thing and put it on the web. I think we can accept answers such as "uhm ... we could tell you but would have to pod you later" on some items but getting some answers on the questions some folks prolly repeatedly asked on the forums would maybe make some so much happier to shell out money for Eve. With some more straight answers once in a while I will even consider a second account myself ... *wink wink bribe* -----------------------------------------------------

Originally by: Pottsey Currently there are a group of named modules which are the same as the normal T1 modules making the named versions useless. When will modules like the shield relays or cap flux get better fitting and/or better specs? Right now it does not matter if you fit T1, local, beta or any other version they are all pretty much the same.
Some have lower fitting requirements however while having the same attribs. Maybe thats the difference? -----------------------------------------------------
